What we collect when you ask us for a plan, who else sees it, and how long we keep it.
Who we are

What we collect
Everything on this page comes from the form at /start. We ask for your name, your business name and an email address. Everything else is optional: your phone number, your website, what kind of business you are, and the questions about how the business runs day to day, including the free-text box at the end.
We do not store your IP address. The form is protected against spam using a one-way hash of your IP address and browser, held for an hour and never written to our database. Our host keeps its own server logs, as described below.
Why we collect it
To write the plan you asked for, and to talk to you about it. We do not sell it, share it for advertising, or add you to a marketing list.
Who else processes it
- Anthropic reads your answers to draft the plan. Your free text is sent to their API. We do not send them your email address or phone number.
- Supabase stores your submission and the drafted plan.
- Resend sends the email that alerts us to your enquiry, and the email that carries your plan back to you.
- Vercel hosts this website and keeps the usual server logs.
If you give us your website
Your website address is optional. If you give it to us, we fetch the page and take your logo and your brand colours from it, so that the mockup in your plan looks like your business rather than like a template. We store those alongside your submission. We take nothing that is not already published on your own site, and if you would rather we did not, leave the field blank or tell us and we will remove them.
How long we keep it
Your plan is published as a private web page at an address that cannot be guessed and is not indexed by search engines. We keep that page for 90 days from the day we send it, and then remove it. Ask us and we will send a fresh link, or remove it sooner.
Your submission itself we keep until you ask us to delete it. We have not set an automatic expiry on it, and we would rather say so than describe a schedule we do not operate.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us using it at all. Email ben@marketstack.co.uk and we will do it. You do not need to give a reason and it will not cost you anything.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
